How do you sleep at night?
They wonder what dreams I have
How I lay my head so peaceful to the love of my pillow,
Slightly adjusting myself to the right side of the bed.
Comfy in a blood dripping roof.
How do I sleep knowing that I have a body count,
Numbers stuck to my skin like velcro
Held tightly with screams and cries.
How do I close my eyes and still see,
Completely blind to the emotions needed to drain a body,
For when I lay my hands on their skin.
